Remember in the movie ET....when the mother is reading a bedtime story to "Gertie" She says, "Clap your hands if you believe"..and she claps
as hard as she can. It was so precious! I think it was "Peter Pan" she was reading. It is my favorite part in the movie.
My daughter Savannah was a teenager when taking pictures of your little ones (in black and white) chalking them and adding butterfly wings (creating little fairies) was so popular. I missed out!
I was so excited when I came across this cute gift bag at a dollar store. It had this darling artwork on it. I made a black and white copy of the front of the bag, then cut the figure of the little girl out.
I added colorful chalk to highlight her cheeks, dress and eyes. Took apart a decorative net butterfly. Gluing the wings to the back of the little girl cutout, transforming her into a fairy! I placed her on the edge of a gift box I had. I added a little bit of floral and leaves around front and back for stability. I glued the beaded body of the butterfly along the front of box....I think of it as her fairy wand! The last touch was the Believe chip board! Enjoy and Clap your hands if you believe...who knows what could happen.
